Apply Special Tourist Visa

International Tourist should notify their intension for long stay travel in Thailand and must provide a photo of the information page of the passport that the applicant will use for entry into Thailand and notify the applicant’s current Location/Residence (City/Country) and state the nearest Thai Embassy/Consulate to the applicant.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will inform the official agent  to begin the application.

    What is STV Visa ?
    The Thailand Special Tourist Visa (STV) is a special visa introduced by the Tourism Authority of Thailand for long-stay tourists who would like to travel to Thailand. It is one of the economic measures by the Thai government to restore the local tourism industry that has been affected heavily by COVID-19.
    What is requiement of STV Visa ?
    Foreigners applying for the STV will need to provide the following: Proof of accommodation after the 14-day quarantine, which could be any of the following: Proof of payment for hotel or accommodation to be used after discharge from quarantine. Copy of a condominium title deed owned by the visitor or a family member. Evidence of renting accommodation – condominium or house. Evidence of payment for the purchase or lease of a condominium-type residence that foreigners can legally buy or lease.
    What is Medical and Travel insurance related to Covid-19 ?
    Medical and Travel Insurance with a minimum 100,000 USD coverage for COVID-19 medical treatment and a minimum coverage of 400,000 THB for other medical and accident expenses. The insurance must cover for at least 90 days which is the initial validity of the visa.
